What is a Health Coach?
A health coach is a trained professional who guides clients into making gentle healthy lifestyle changes that they may be struggling to do on their own. The lifestyle goals can be anything that the client feels is holding them back from the life they want to have. Losing weight, reducing stress, healthy cooking, higher quality sleep and even stopping emotional eating are all goals that a health coach can help with. A coach asks questions that will force you to look deeper into yourself for answers. By breaking down goals into accessible steps, holding you accountable and helping you steer clear of obstacles along the way, a health coach will become an important ally in creating the healthy life you deserve.
How can a Health Coach help me?
Maybe you’ve struggled with your weight all of your life, have no energy after having your last child or want to learn how to feed your family better. Maybe you have a class reunion coming up and want to get back into your favorite jeans. Maybe you are overwhelmed by a stressful job. Most of us have tried to change the things in our life that we don’t like with varying degrees of success. If you’re not successful, it’s frustrating isn’t it?! A health coach will meet you where you are and view your situation with a fresh pair of eyes (and ears!). You will get dedicated time with someone who really wants to help.
